Musical theatre is a sort of theatre. It accommodates songs, spoken
dialogue, acting, and dance.
2. Comparison with Opera
In the perform contents, singers sing songs through and followed the songs
are dialogue; but opera doesn’t always have dialogue. In performers, musical
player can dance and sing, but acting is the main point; opera player is
primarily a singer and only secondarily an actor. Regarding the use of microphones,
musical performers use them, but opera singers sing without microphones.
